I'm reading over the vCenter 5.1 availability guide and I'm a bit confused on where slot sizes come into play. There are 3 options for HA: Host Failures Cluster Tolerates . Percent of Cluster Resources Reserved . Failover Host From what I'm reading the only method that uses the slot size process is the Host Failures Cluster Tolerates.
